Product Sales Engineer (Defense)

As a Product Sales Engineer, you support the Sales and Product Management colleagues in complex solution selling by providing in-depth technical expertise. You develop a relationship with the engineering department of the customer, as well as internally, to discuss and analyze possible solutions for your customer.

Your main job responsibilities

• You review technical and product related requirements, T&Cs/SOW, as well as quotation preparation and review.

• You give technical support to Sales and Product Management for all Defense & Security and Air Traffic Control product lines.

• You are the first line support towards customers for technical integration issues.

• You support technical demonstrations and presentations to customers.

• You manage the demonstrator unit pool for exhibitions and customer visits.

• You support of obsolescence management and Product Lifecycle Management.

• You report to the Product Manager.

Profile:

• You hold a Master’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education in the field of engineering

• You have a strong technical skill set in similar industry or technology

• You’re fluent in English

• You have good technical problem solving skills

• You have a commercial mindset

• An interest or experience in Defense/Security & Air Traffic Control is a plus
