Job description
ScioTeq is building the next generation of mission-critical visualization, avionics, computing, and defense technology solutions for customers operating in the world’s most demanding environments. Our products support aerospace, defense, air traffic control, and advanced ground vehicle platforms where performance, reliability, and innovation matter.
We are looking for a highly technical, customer-focused US Senior Product Sales Engineer who thrives at the intersection of engineering, product strategy, and complex solution selling. If you enjoy solving hard technical problems, engaging directly with customer engineering teams, shaping solutions, and helping close strategic opportunities, we want to talk to you.
The US Senior Product Sales Engineer supports the Sales and Product Management organization in complex solution selling by providing in-dept technical expertise and a hands-on mentality. The position develops a strong relationship with the engineering department of the important customers and strategic projects, as well as internally, to discuss and analyze independent possible solutions for the customer’s complex problems and needs.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a primary technical interface between customers and internal teams during strategic pursuits and active programs
Build strong working relationships with customer engineering, systems architecture, and program management organizations
Lead technical discovery discussions to understand customer requirements, operational challenges, and integration constraints
Support customer meetings, demonstrations, technical interchange meetings (TIMs), trade shows, and program reviews
Translate complex technical concepts into clear customer value propositions
Analyze customer requirements and help define optimal technical architectures and product configurations
Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to identify product gaps, enhancements, and roadmap opportunities
Assist in defining system-level solutions involving hardware, software, networking, display management, cybersecurity, and open architectures
Support technical risk analysis and mitigation planning during pursuit activities
Lead development of technical proposal content, compliance matrices, solution descriptions, and technical responses
Support US government, prime contractor, and defense-related proposal efforts, including US-eyes-only opportunities
Provide voice-of-customer feedback to influence future product development
Mentor junior sales engineers and support the development of technical sales best practices
Adhere to company procedures and instructions to contribute to the effectiveness of the quality and environmental management system and to minimize environmental impact.
