Logistic Buyer

Would you like to take on a key position within a dynamic supply chain team? As a logistics buyer, you will ensure that our production engineering teams can always count on timely and error-free deliveries. This is thanks to your keen follow-up, accurate planning and strong supplier relationships. You will have an impact on the entire company.

• You will be responsible for a portfolio of raw materials and suppliers and will manage the operational purchasing process.

• You will decide on purchase quantities, taking into account demand, agreements made with suppliers and internal stock guidelines. This means you will have a direct influence on stock and cash flow results.

• Based on the production schedule, you place purchase orders with a realistic delivery commitment for suppliers.

• Through your meticulous follow-up, you ensure that these timely deliveries are effectively realized.

• In the event of deviations (late deliveries, late confirmations, overdue deliveries, missing documents, payment problems, etc.), you act as a representative and work with the supplier to find solutions.

• You always proactively communicate relevant information to the planners.

• You ensure that damaged goods and poor-quality items are dealt with quickly by the supplier.

• You communicate design changes to suppliers and check whether the order needs to be adjusted.

• You are responsible for entering supplier master data into the ERP system, such as quotations, delivery times and country of origin.

Your profile

• You have at least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

• You enjoy administrative tasks and take meticulous follow-up to heart.

• You are both communicative and assertive enough to build good relationships with suppliers.

• If you are already familiar with an ERP system, it’s a great asset.

• You proactively keep your colleagues informed, identify bottlenecks in good time and come up with well-thought-out improvement proposals that make our processes a little stronger every day.

• You remain calm and focused, even when the workload peaks.

• You express yourself fluently in Dutch and English.
