Job description

To support our avionics display development team we are looking for a software oriented support engineer. As a team player, you cooperate closely with the other engineers to define and realize test setups and Software tooling for our display products. Our product portfolio consist of different types of flight-deck displays which form the main interface between the pilots and their aircraft. Pilots do rely on the functionality of our products to fly business jets, helicopters, trainer aircraft and large air transport aircraft. Your contribution will support the development processes which are key to guarantee the quality and safety standards of our products.

Primary Responsibilities

  • You support the creation of test strategies and develop test setups for the embedded software of our products, aligned with the existing frameworks, standards and tooling
  • You actively contribute to the improvement and automation of the test processes
  • You develop proprietary PC-based software tools to support our processes and products
  • You execute maintenance activities on legacy proprietary PC-based software tools

Job requirements

  • Holding a technical Bachelor degree (ICT, IoT, Electronics, …)
  • Understanding embedded C code
  • Programming in Python
  • Programming C# applications using a development framework
  • Operating lab equipment such as oscilloscope, video generator, multimeter, …
  • Fluent in English both in speaking and writing
  • Being analytical and solution oriented
  • Being enthusiastic and able to collaborate with an open mind in an international team
