Program Manager Avionics

As a dynamic Program Manager Avionics, you are the key point of contact between our avionics customers and the ScioTeq organization for all existing development as well as long-term production and service agreements. As a strong communicator with a strong passion for avionics technology you maintain a good relationship with the customer.

• You prepare Program plans, including schedules, statements of work, work breakdown structures and budgets. You participate in proposal efforts and contract negotiations for larger programs.

• You work with the business development organization to develop additional opportunities by leveraging off current customers and programs.

• You chair internal and customer program reviews. You serve as the primary customer interface and you are accountable for customer satisfaction while meeting all contractual and internal financial requirements. You also interface with supporting government agencies for civil programs, including BCAA and EASA.

• You analyze requirements to develop focused program essentials, specifying goals, strategy, staffing need, scheduling, identification and management of risks, contingency plans, and best use of available resources.

• You hold a Master’s degree or equivalent with at least 4 years of experience in project or program management, preferably in aviation industry.

• You have excellent English communication skills at various levels. Knowledge of Dutch and French are an asset.

• You have strong organization, planning and time management skills.

• You have proven experience as project lead with a pro-active approach and with major demanding customers.

• You have a strong affinity for technical matters such as electronics and software. Education in any of these fields is a complementary asset.

• You have negotiation skills and understanding of contracts are key.

• PMI certification is an extra advantage.
